Cook-off @ the Cape Quarter

I was approached by a friend of mine who was unable to do the shoot and she asked me if I wanted to do it. I wasn't sure what to expect, but things worked out well and the client was happy.

"And thank you again the images are truly beautiful, I was very impressed."

2010 is here!

Wow, the new year arrived with a bang, and a month's gone by already, I'm bushed. My daughter started grade 1 and we are trying to settle into a routine, so far so good. I have so much blogging to do. Keep watching this space.

You'll recognise this couple from an earlier wedding post. It was great fun working with them again and their little boy is so gorgeous. What a happy, busy little boy.

The boy next door.

This little man lives next door to me, and he's always popping around for some play time with my kids. Even though he is only 2, he fits right in with all the boys and girls in the street. As you can see from the first pic, he wasn't quite sure whether this was his thing, but after a while he got right into it. Still like the pic though, and it just goes to show that you don't always have to smile to make a great photo.

I did this photoshoot a few months ago. Baby was 2 weeks old, and so adorable. He was a little fussy at first, but we got him settled and he was a real champ. Newborn baby photography is fast becoming a favourite of mine. Newborns are best photographed wearing nothing. I try and arrange the photoshoot at home where the baby is most comfortable, bear in mind that I need lots of natural light.
