M Family
I did this photo shoot a week ago, combining family portraits and a maternity shoot. I know this couple for more than 10 years now, and it's always great speding time with them. We don't see each other as often as we would like, but we always manage to catch up where we left off. J also introduced me to my wonderful husband, so she is very special to me. Isn't she just glowing. Thanks guys for allowing me to capture this most special moment. Can't wait to meet your new little guy.

M Family
We've known this couple for a very long time. We've seen each other through dating, marriage and having babies. Now our kids are growing up together, they're like family. Love you guys!

Drakenstein Municipaliy
I was fortunate to be involved in taking photographs at a workshop in Paarl as part of their June 16 "celebration". Thanks to Nazreen Essack, for passing the shoot on to me. I'll be posting some pics later in the meantime here is the blogsite:

Trendy High-Contrast Portrait Effect.
I recently bought a photoshop book by Scott Kelby on recommendation of fellow photographer Nazreen Essack. Found this cool technique, unfortnately could not find a it on the web. I'll continue my search and if I find it I'll be sure to add it. I thought I'd share the photo with you anyway. It was taken a couple years ago when Dorothy came for her first make-over. So far the results of this technique has been very satisfactory, but it works particularly well with people who have light coloured eyes.

1st Term!
Well the 1st term has come and gone, and I've done no blogging. I have been busy though, grade 1 is tougher that I thought, for me anyway. Hannah is to be handling it well, she's a star and doing really well. I however need help. I will try and do better this term and do my homework as well. So keep checking in on me, make me feel guilty if you have to.
